A Beautiful Body Project - Mothers
Be Brave, Be Bold, You're Beautiful!!
You are not "too fat", "too wrinkly", "too short", "too tall", your boobs are not "too saggy" and your bum looks fabulous in that!!!
You have one magnificent body in this short life. Appreciate it, nuture it and it will serve you well. Your body is a precious vessel for you to deliver your truth, your message to the World.
What is your truth? What message do you want to leave behind for your children? What behavior do you want your children to imitate?
My good friend Lucy recently shared 'A Beautiful Body Book Project' by Jade Beall, therapeutic photographer. Check out the video, buy Jade's stunning book and please share to keep this message going- every woman needs to see this, be a part of this and continue empowering one another, embracing our natural and authentic beauty.
Our children need to have positive roles models. Role models who support one another and have nothing but love for themsleves and each other. We don't need to compete, there is room for everyone to reach their highest power. Let's give each other a leg up.
This is what Bodhi Babes is all about. Reminding ourselves of our truth, that we are all Brave, we need to be Bold and we are all BEAUTIFUL!!!

I am sitting in my local coffee shop writing this and am horrified at the two conversations I have just overheard...
To my left two women in their 20's, to my right a group of 5 women in their mid-late 30's, with their babies. Both conversations revolving around how other women look and how many things they hate about their bodies! OMG!!! Ladies this HAS to STOP!!!

Let's do two things every day
Look in the mirror and remind yourself of all the things you love about your body.
Look at the things you maybe don't love and think about why they are also beautiful. Perhaps you have stretch marks from pregnancy!?.... let them remind you of your beautiful child. Let them remind you how brave you were during pregnancy and through birth. Let them remind you that you have a family and people who love you. Let them remind you how selfless you are, putting others needs before your own. Let your stretch marks remind you that you are a Brave, Bold, Beautiful, nurturing female, capable of giving the ultimate gift, the gift of life!
