How cheek squeezingly cute is that photo!
Squuueeeekkk! I am soo excited for my friends who welcomed their second beautiful baby girl to the world this morning! Also to another couple of dear friends on the recent arrival of their gorgeous baby boy. Congratulations! on this exciting new chapter of your lives lovely people- Mwah! I can't wait for cuddles!
We've all had our fair share of bad news lately with the ongoing wars, planes crashing and going 'missing' and some of our favourite childhood (and adult) personalities either being arrested or dying it's amazing we still remember how to smile... so news of a new baby is just what I needed today. A kick up the backside to flip the coin and a reminder of the Yin and Yang of life.
It is an impossibility to have only happy events. We wouldn't even know the feeling of happy if there was no sad. Bad stuff happens, it truly sucks and can make us question what the point of it all is. But...
MIRACLES HAPPEN EVERY DAY!!! Just look at the photo above again guys ^^^^^
In this troubled World, babies bring a wonderful shining ray of hope, and remind us of miracles and love! A new life and a new beginning with endless possibilities!

I have news for you...
Today is your new life and your new beginning with endless possibilities!
None of us know how long we're here for, so I cannot stress enough how important it is to fill your life with things you LOVE.
Just like a new born baby your story is not yet written- today can be page 1, chapter 1 of your story and you are the author! So give J.K Rowling a run for her money and write the best damn story EVER!
Forget past drafts... if you don't like what's been written so far, start again! Rid yourself of anything... or anyone that no longer serves you. Anything that weighs you down or make you feel less than your perfect- imperfect, unique, beautiful, shiny you, needs to do one!
YOU are amazing and deserve the best of everything!

If it feels a bit scary then start with baby steps... see what I did there- back to the babies! Ha!
We can seriously learn a lot from babies and children. Harness 5 year old you, take life back to basics and start with small steps. Making too many changes at once, can feel overwhelming, so begin with small easy to stick to changes. Have fun!
Make your goals SMART:
S - specific, significant, stretching
M - measurable, meaningful, motivational
A - agreed upon, attainable, achievable, acceptable, action-oriented
R - realistic, relevant, reasonable, rewarding, results-oriented
T - time-based, time-bound, timely, tangible, trackable
Write down your goals and progress. This will help you to keep track of where you are. When you can see the progress and hard work in black and white it can really help to motivate you when times get tough.
Look after yourself and do it in your own time, there's no rush.
It won't always be easy. Just like childbirth, there may be times of agony, but ride the pain out, there will be a bundle of joy waiting for you on the otherside.
