Love & Light In London

Sunday 10th May 2015 saw some of the brightest souls gathering in London for the first #HigherSelfieLive - the UK's first spiritual un-conference.

I am still on a high after the event. I knew it was going to be a great day, as the brain-child of soul sisters, Lucy from Proof Coaching and Jo Westwood 'The Spirit DJ' and sponsored by lululemon.

It far surpassed any of my expectations. These girls know how to put on a show!

Taking over three floors of a super cool warehouse in SE London - Hipsters just got out hipped.

With fantastic keynote speakers: Rebecca Campbell - Hay House Author of the incredible book: Light Is The New Black, Ruby Warrington - founder of The Numinous (amazing site- check it out!) and the gorgeous Jody Shield - inspirational speaker and therapist, with so much heart.

They all gave incredible, authentic, heart-felt talks. If you haven't come across them before, check them out, they are blazing a trail of high-vibes and their work will most certainly light you up.

The un-conference was the audiences chance to choose who else they wanted to hear speak throughout the day. We arrived and were given four stickers to place on the posters of the speakers who had nominated themselves to talk. It was so hard to only choose four, as every speaker was amazing, but what a fantastic way to open up the floor.

I nominated myself for a talk and was thrilled and honoured to be voted to take to the stage. It was such a beautiful space and event to do a talk and one of the best audiences you could hope for. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for and supported me.

You can check out some of my talk on the 3 min video below:

All of the speakers were fantastic and such brilliant gems of wisdom from every one of them: Kate Taylor, Emma Fairclough, Kirsten Davies, Ollie Neveu, Suzie Bartle,

As well as the incredible talks, there was a pop up mall including: tarot reading from Emergise (Emma Fairclough, who also gave an absolutely heart-felt and hilarious talk) and New Age Hipster, amazing artwork from Erin Petson, magical goodies from Celestine Eleven & delicious tea from Positivitea.

To top it all off Boys of Yoga came in for an epic yoga sesh at lunchtime, followed by some super yummy grub from Rainbo.

The day was an absolute blast and to be honest I'm still trying to process it all...

What I have taken away is a blissful high, lots of new friends and so much love for everyone involved in creating such a beautiful space, sharing their wisdom and bringing such electric vibes to London town.

Photos with thanks to the brilliant Beth Crockatt, jump over to her site for her amazing images. Also check out #HigherSelfie's media partner Health Bloggers Community for more, including interviews from the day.

Sunday ended on the biggest high, with cocktails, bubbles and fun with friends.

It was great to catch up with so many super inspiring soul sisters & brothers, including:

All incredible people in the industry, go check them all out and show them some love.

All of this was FREE! and by far surpassed any other Mind, Body, Spirit event I've been to.

I am looking forward to the next #HigherSelfie event already... head over to their page and get your name down quick, these are going to be the hottest tickets in town.

x Lou
