One Of Many - Women

"The Essential Event for Women Shaping Their World.

Access the power to change your life, or change the planet."

The words above intrigued me enough to register. "That's me!" I thought. "I'm a woman shaping my World and I want to change the planet."

The One Of Many website sure looks inspiring and has messages on it that'll resonate with any woman but I wasn't sure what to expect from the conference and if it would be worth the 3 days I was re-scheduling to go to it.

Bodhi Babes is all about supporting women to live the life they desire, so I wanted to meet these women and see what One Of Many was all about...

Hit with a tsunami of excited energy when I arrived at One Of Many's, One Woman Conference; the buzz in the foyer and the grinning faces of women (some of whom had come for the second time) told me I was in for something special.

As soon as I took my seat in the conference room, I felt at home, I was in a room full of women who want more from life, women who want to support one another, to reach their full potential and make a difference in the world.

One Of Many and The One Woman Conference was founded by:

Dr Joanna Martin.

Jo is a fireball of energy and feminine power. She radiates love and passion for the work she is doing and in elevating other women to do the same.

Founder: One of ManyTM. Author. Ex-doctor. Entrepreneur. Sister. Sometime Actor. Baby Wrangler. Personal Chef.

The two other incredible speakers at the conference were:

Susie Heath

Trainer: One of manyTM. Fashion Designer. Horticulturalist. Business-Owner. Presenter. Author. Grandmother. Dancer. Lover of Men.

Annie Stoker

Trainer: One of manyTM. Psychotherapist. Author. Property Investor. Dedicated Daughter. Dog-Lover. Chilled-Out Friend.

The three women above have created the most wonderful conference for women. They inspired us to take action in creating the lives we dream about and took us on a journey of self-development and discovery. They created a sacred space for deep connection, new friendships and provided us with a support network, to stay in touch and ask for what we need after the event.

"Our methodologies are grounded in common sense and science. They are tailored to women, so they stick!"

Over the course of the conference we looked at our needs as women, how we can support one another, to thrive in our lives; and how we can use our feminine power to lead, without having to compete with men or bring a masculine energy.

We looked at all areas of our lives and how we can create flow...

  • Awareness: One of many things causing us to wake up

  • Flow: One of many states we’d love to be in daily

  • Work: One of many things we need to have working for us

  • Wealth: One of many things that happens when women work together

  • Relationships: One of many things we need to keep on top of

  • Leadership: One of many qualities we could use a little more of

  • Health: One of many things that often falls to the bottom of the list

There was lots of laughter and a few tears, as we came together to meet one another where we're at and ask for what we needed. We looked at the differences between men and women and how we can better understand and communicate with each other. There was even a panel of men to answer our burning questions.

Does the message below from the One Of Many website sound familiar to you?

"Trying to be a good friend but more often a distant one; a loving mum but more often a tired one; an organised colleague, but more often a distracted one.

You commit yourself to others, and sometimes you lose sight of a commitment to yourself. But you’re not alone. You’re one of many. We all are."

As women, we try to be so many things to so many people; we can easily forget who we are, burning ourselves out, looking after everyone's needs but our own.

That was one of Jo's leading messages at the conference, which she demonstrated beautifully in a cape, red pants and several pairs of glasses!

We've got used to juggling so many things and doing everything ourselves, we risk burning out if we don't ask for help.

We celebrate 'Wonder Women' at Bodhi Babes and to me being a Wonder Woman is bringing forth our feminine power, our confident energy and supporting one another, not trying to do everything alone.

One of Many is all about creating flow in our lives, working together to support one another and create better communities in harmony with other women and men.

Whatever stage you are at in your life and whatever area you need to work on, you will take so much away from this conference. It was a wonderful retreat, to celebrate the divine feminine, ourselves and the women around us, to explore our power and embrace our needs and desires. You will take away a mini manual for life, work and relationships and have a holistic plan on how to move forward, with vitality and ease in your life.

I cannot recommend The One Woman Conference highly enough and I will be going again myself. Check out highlights from previous conferences on the video below and register for your place on the next One Woman Conference here.
