Our ethos at Bodhi Babes is Be Brave, Be Bold, You're Beautiful - celebrating & empowering women.
This video, the women in it and it's creators are all of the above.
This stunningly coreographed dance made me smile, cry and gave me goosebumps.

"Why I Dance is a pole dance film about women who come together to reclaim their bodies and themselves. In celebration of all women everywhere. The proceeds of our original track will benefit the California Women's Law Center, fighting for social justice for women and girls. Purchase here"

Bodhi Babes began as a dream of a community, to bring women together. A community of celebration, for women to feel empowered, comfortable in our own skin, to look at others and ourselves with kindness and for us to be inspired by and supportive of one another, for women to be free, to celebrate and love our individuality. That is why this video moved me so much, because - although we still have a long way to go - things are changing! Women are being celebrated more for our individual, unique beauty, we are supporting one another and with those things, we are learning to love ourselves more. Let's keep the love & celebration going!
