Meet #BBWW - Ariel Frey
I couldn't be more excited to introduce you to Ariel and her blog Full Spirited, I love her! You may have seen her already on my #BBWW Bodhi Babes Wonder Women page!? Well, you lucky things, now you get to know a lot more about this fabulous babe!
"Full Spirited is all about loving life: specifically crafting intuition, developing confidence, and adding value to the world. It's important to me because I believe that everyone should have a kick ass life that they are truly in love with!"
When you were a little girl, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a model. Hilarious when I think about it now. A couple of my girlfriends are designers and I’ve done a bit of work for them..it was totally fun, but I am not cut out for the model life. That was the professional title that I wanted as a little girl, but what I wanted to DO was help people….I wasn’t ever sure in what capacity though.
What do you do now? For work? For fun?
What do I do now…LOL this is a big question Louise!! Now I try every day to be the best person that I can be and I try to always look at everything from a positive angle. Like, what can I learn from this? I’m an intuitive by nature. I believe that we all are! Some people are born with gifts for certain things and I was born with the gift of extreme empathy and connection to spirit. So I grew up experiencing spirit and now I looove to teach people how to use their intuition and connect to spirit in a way that is super down to earth and makes sense to everyone!! I love learning new ideas! It’s like play time for me. I love working on my business because I love what I’m teaching (when you find something you love to work on..it doesn’t feel like work!) Other things I do for fun are cuddle with my two french bulldogs, Mr. Burp and Little Fizz, Sing my face off, hang with my lovely partner Josh and my family, have impromptu dance parties, and create everything and anything..I LOOOOVE CRAFTING & DIY.

How did you get into your area of expertise?
I truly think that before I was born I decided on this path for myself. The experiences that have led me to this belief include always having aches and pains as kid (I later found out that this came from extreme empathy), seeing spirit at the foot of my bed when I was seven, meeting Sylvia Lexow (one of my now spirit guides) before she passed and knowing that she had died before anyone told me, among many other daily bizarre experiences. In college I decided to investigate all of this craziness so I went to Chicago medium, Delphina, and had an absolutely life changing reading. She told me that I too was a medium! What!! You must be joking! I kind of wondered all along, but having the validation was mind blowing. From that day on I have been studying everything I can get my hands on about spirit and intuition. In the process I received my Master Teacher Reiki certification as well.
What obstacles have you faced in following your dreams and how have you overcome them?
Other people not believing in me or understanding what the heck I’m doing is a big one. I overcame this by deciding that what I was doing was way too important to let someone else's doubts, hold me back.
I’ve had to overcome wondering if what I’m doing is even making a difference, but the universe always sends me amazing people like you Louise, who give me inspiration to keep going. The universe also gives me twitter followers who shoutout my work, lots of likes across my social platforms, and people from my hometown who reach out to my parents to tell them that what I’m doing is super cool…how cool is that!!!? The more you reach out the more resilient you are. This is such a true statement. The more love you put out into the world and the more value you give, the more affirmations you receive about how valuable your work is. You get back 10 times the value of what you put out into the world and that beautiful gift that you receive from being YOU fearlessly is what keeps you going.

What’s the best part of what you do?
The best part of what I do is seeing other people get excited about learning something that helps them be the light. When people reach out to me to say, “thank you of showing up” I cry every time and then I throw my hands up into the air and say YES! It’s so exhilarating to see other people change their lives.
What advice do you have for other women who might want to follow suit?
Be 100% YOU and live full out fearlessly. Find that beautiful peace inside of yourself that allows you to be unapologetically YOU every day..all the time!! Stop caring what other people think and do what you love. Make sure that you feel fulfilled from your life every singly day. And lastly, take care of your body. Your body is your temple and your vessel. A healthy vessel is the foundational key to enlightenment. Vibe-ing high gets super tricky when your cells are scraggly!

What’s your morning routine? Keep it clean ;-)
Keep it clean?? What do you do in the morning Louise?? LOL! Morning sex isn’t really my thing. I love to chill out in the morning. Chat with Josh, Juice (green, orange..whatever I’m feeling), grab a little caffeine if I need a pick me up, do a short meditation with some automatic writing, and I’ll rock out some Yoga if I need to clear my energy out. Do I always do all of those things in the morning..absolutely not. I think it’s important to give yourself the freedom to go with what your body wants and to not resist the energetic pulls you feel when you allow your body and soul to do the deciding.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be?" Marianne Williamson
